Merantara is an early-stage company building a team in Malaysia for the global AI industry. Our work starts with data collection, annotation and quality assurance, turning records of real-world language, environments and actions into datasets for model training and testing.

Include relevant education, work or practical experience, your current location, earliest available start date, and the languages, professional software and AI tools you use. Also provide the information requested under “Application Details” for your chosen role.
The required experience with AI tools may come from study, coursework, personal projects or employment. What matters is how you used the tools and verified the results. Supporting examples are optional: you do not need to create or submit a separate AI work sample, and applying without one will not disadvantage your application.
If you choose to share an example, briefly explain the problem, your approach, how you checked the outcome and what improved. Coursework, internships and simulated tasks are all suitable.
We normally complete the initial screening and respond to applicants within ten working days of receiving an application.
